WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND A CHANGE NOT LATER ——NOW!!

 

CONGRESSIONAL REFORM ACT 2013 AS REQUIRED BY “WE THE PEOPLE”  

WE ARE TIRED OF THE STATUS QUO WE WANT CHANGE AND WE WANT IT NOW!    

1. No Tenure/ No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office
and receives no pay when they leave office.

2. TERM LIMITS -NO CAREER POLITICIANS

3. Congress shall not spend more than 3 months in Washington, to do the countries business, at the end of said three months they shall return to their constituents/home of residence. Only to be recalled in the time of national emergency such as war or a national crisis..

4. Congress participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately.

5. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan,just as all Americans do.

5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.Congressional pay will rise based on the national average for pay raises (each year)                 

6. Congress current health care system will be deleted they will participate in the same health care system as the “WE THE PEOPLE”.

7. Congress must abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective AT SIGNING OF BILL

8. Congress and the president will no longer have access to our national fleet of air craft for campaign purposes,junkets,vacation travel,going to and from their constituency (they must use commercial aircraft)                

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.
